1. Who we are
This website (the "Site") is operated by Centaur Riders Limited, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 15995898), registered address 6-7 Hamilton Close, London NW8 8QY ("we," "us," "our"). These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Site and your Founding Rider reservation.
By using the Site or making a Founding Rider reservation, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the Site.

3. The Founding Rider reservation
3.1 Your £1 payment is a refundable reservation deposit, not a donation and not a pre-order or purchase of any physical or digital product in its own right.
3.2 In exchange, you receive the Founding Rider Welcome Pack (delivered by email once our Kickstarter campaign launches), a numbered Founding Rider Certificate, a Hall of Heroes listing, and priority access to the campaign. Full details of the Welcome Pack are set out on the reservation page and may be updated from time to time; we'll honour the version live at the time of your reservation.
3.3 This is not the Kickstarter pledge itself. Your £1 is intended to count toward your total pledge on the Kickstarter campaign's Day 1, subject to the mechanism confirmed at checkout.
3.4 Kickstarter is a separate platform operated by Kickstarter, PBC. Your relationship with Kickstarter (including pledges made directly on Kickstarter) is governed by Kickstarter's own terms, not these Terms.
3.5 Refunds of your £1 deposit are governed by our Refund Policy [link].
4. Eligibility
You must be 18 or older, or have the consent of a parent or guardian, to make a Founding Rider reservation. This website is not directed at children.
5. Payments
5.1 Payments are processed securely by Stripe. We do not store your full card details.
5.2 All prices are in GBP (£) and include any applicable UK taxes unless stated otherwise.
6. Intellectual property
6.1 All content on this Site, including but not limited to the Centaur Riders name and logo, the world of Ashvaren, character designs and artwork, story content, and site design, is owned by or licensed to Centaur Riders Limited and its creative collaborators, and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.
6.2 Your Founding Rider reservation does not grant you any ownership or licence to reproduce, distribute, or commercially exploit any Centaur Riders content, including material in your Welcome Pack. Sketches, certificates, and secret content are for your personal, non-commercial enjoyment only.
6.3 You may not copy, reproduce, or redistribute any content from this Site without our prior written permission.
7. Marketing communications
By signing up for email updates or making a reservation, you consent to receive marketing emails from us about the campaign. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email or by contacting us at contact@centaurriders.com.

9.1 We aim to keep the Site available, but we don't guarantee uninterrupted access, and we may suspend, withdraw, or restrict availability for business or operational reasons.
9.2 We may update these Terms, the Welcome Pack contents, or the reservation offer from time to time. Material changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the Site after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
10. Limitation of liability
10.1 Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded under English law.
10.2 Subject to clause 10.1, our total liability to you arising out of or in connection with your use of the Site or your Founding Rider reservation is limited to the amount you paid us (i.e. £1), except where you have a separate, valid claim under our Refund Policy.
10.3 We are not liable for delays or failures in delivering the Kickstarter campaign itself, which is subject to Kickstarter's own platform and its inherent risks (a standard feature of crowdfunding, which we encourage you to read about on Kickstarter's site).
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
